Parents sometimes need specialized support too.
Yes, reading parenting books, listening to podcasts and even talking to your child's pediatrician can help when you have questions about how to handle situations that come up when parenting a child or teen with ADHD. Have you ever felt ready to try a different approach only to forget what to do, get caught up in the emotions or feel your resolve melt away?
We know that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach. And we also know just like we need to help kids build skills, we need to help you build and implement your own.
An ADHD certified coach who understands how ADHD shows up throughout one's lifespan and can affect relationships and confidence will help you think through tailored strategies to build skills while emphasizing strengths, grow self awareness and improve communication skills. They will become thinking partners with you so that you can find feasible solutions you will want to implement right away.
This is how we keep moving forward.
